The AMD ATI FireMV™ 2250 PCIe X1 Multi-Port Monitor Graphics Card offers the most versatile multi display graphics solution on the market. With the increased onboard memory of 256 MB, AMD's new dual head Vista Aero™ Compliant, (2-port) video card is ideal for the demands of mission critical and "always on" applications. New features include Open GL 2.0 for animation & CAD application support, 2D/3D capability, & TV-out, both standard and low profile brackets in the box, this card integrates into the widest range of machines, including SFF (Small Form Factor) and Laptop Docking Stations. With the addition of TV out, you have the ability to run any combination of 2 monitor types, S-video, VGA or DVI. Variable speed fan cooling offers low noise and lower power consumption as well as greater reliability which also results in a high MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
The multi-view accelerator card provides NEW more powerful GPU and 256Mb of DDR graphics memory offering the versatility of mixed resolution types and independent monitor resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536 (analog) and 1920 x 1200 (DVI). The Catalyst® Unified Driver Architecture (Vista Aero certified) enables corporate sites to seamlessly populate workstations and desktops with a single driver for easy installation and maintenance.
